CliniSys Winter Conference and User Group - 3rd & 4th November 2016

The CliniSys winter conference and user group meeting was once again held at the Belfry, West Midlands. Over 250 of our customers enjoyed two days full of key note guest speakers, updates from regulatory bodies and demonstrations of our latest developments.

Some of the highlights included:

• Prof Tim Evans (National Director of Clinical Productivity) and Mark Hackett (Pathology Advisor) from NHS Improvement will gave an informative presentation on Implementing the Carter recommendations with a unique focus on the Pathology Service.

• Dr Ian Fry, of Surrey Pathology Services, gave a valuable insight into the benefits of affective customer relationship management

• David Byrne, CEO of The Doctors Laboratory, impressed the audience with superb presentation giving an introduction into the innovative pathology service model of Health Services Laboratories. The sheer size of the project and the service offering of HSL was stunning.

• UKAS once again be represented at our winter event with further clarifications on a number of key areas on ISO 15189 accreditation
